By creating an account or using ExcellentCV, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. We may update these terms at any time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Service Description

ExcellentCV is a web-based platform that allows users to create, edit, export, and receive AI-powered feedback on resumes. We offer both free and paid subscription tiers. Features available to you depend on the tier associated with your account.

Your Account

You must provide accurate information when creating your account and keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use ExcellentCV.

Billing & Subscriptions

Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis through Stripe. By subscribing you authorise us to charge your payment method on each renewal date.

• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date
• Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period
• We do not offer refunds for partial periods except where required by law
• Price changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use ExcellentCV for any unlawful or prohibited purpose, including:

• Uploading malicious files or attempting to compromise our infrastructure
• Scraping, reverse-engineering, or reproducing our platform or AI outputs at scale
• Creating resumes that impersonate other individuals or organisations
• Violating any applicable law or regulation

Intellectual Property

ExcellentCV and its templates, design, code, and AI models are owned by us and protected by copyright law. You retain full ownership of the content you create (your resume data). We are granted a limited licence to process that content solely to provide the service.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ExcellentCV is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Termination

You may close your account at any time from the settings page. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that have been inactive for more than 24 months, with reasonable notice where possible.
