Resume content: professional experience, education, skills, and any personal details you add
Profile photo and uploaded documents stored in our cloud storage
Usage data: pages visited, features used, and session duration
Payment information processed securely by Stripe (we never store card numbers)

How We Use Your Data

We use your data solely to provide and improve ExcellentCV:

Generating, storing, and exporting your resumes
Providing AI-powered feedback via Claude (Anthropic)
Sending transactional emails (confirmation, billing receipts) via Resend
Processing subscription payments and managing your account tier
Improving our templates, AI models, and overall user experience

Third-Party Services

We share data only with the sub-processors necessary to operate the platform:

Supabase — database hosting and authentication
Anthropic — AI resume feedback (resume text only, no PII beyond what you include)
Stripe — payment processing
Resend — transactional email delivery
Vercel / cloud hosting — application infrastructure

Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data and resumes are permanently deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for fraud prevention.

Your Rights

Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
Rectification: correct inaccurate or incomplete data
